Cheese biscuits with sesame seeds

Cheese biscuits with sesame seeds: these salty biscuits are served with both tea and beer

For a cookie recipe you need:

    • flour – 300g
    • butter – 60g
    • cheese (cheddar or Swiss) – 200 g
    • sour cream – 2 tbsp
    • eggs – 1 pc.
    • white sesame – 50g
    • salt to taste

  • sesame seeds

Cookie recipe:

Grate the cheese finely. Cheese, chilled and diced butter, flour, mix into small crumbs in the processor. Then add eggs, sour cream, flour and sesame seeds, continue mixing until a ball is formed from the dough. Fold the dough in foil and cool it for about 30 minutes.

Roll the dough on a floured board to a thickness of about 5 mm. Cut out cakes (3 cm in diameter) with a mold or a small glass.

Transfer the cakes to a greased baking sheet, 2 cm apart. Brush each cake lightly with a beaten egg.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake the cakes at 180 ° C for about 15 minutes until a golden crust appears on the surface and the cakes are crispy.
