Caesar salad with shrimps and unusual sauce


The uniqueness of the recipe is that there are no traditional anchovies in the sauce, but honey appeared. Whole Dijon mustard mustard adds flavor. In a green salad, along with romaine lettuce in color, a pair of lolo-rosso and radichio leaves are added.


For a salad recipe you will need:

    • shrimp (peeled, raw, large)
    • Bacon
    • toast bread
    • green salad (red lolo, radicio, romaine lettuce)
    • tomatoes
for sauce:
    • swimsuit
    • mustard (Dijon grain)
    • asali
    • garlic (finely chopped)
    • pesto (prepared sauce)
    • oil
    • chicken (or vegetable) broth
    • parmesan cheese (whipped)
    • salt to taste
for marinade:
  • garlic
  • pesto (prepared sauce)
  • lemon (juice) – 1/2 pc.
  • lime (juice) – 1/2 pc.
  • lime
  • black pepper (dried ground).

Salad Recipes:

Remove the shrimp: half of each lemon and lime, pesto, onion and a little olive oil, a pinch of chopped black pepper.

Sauce. We send mayonnaise, mustard, honey, finely chopped garlic, pesto, olive oil into a bowl.

We begin to mix with a whisk, carefully adding the broth. Continuing to mix, add the Parmesan. The dressing should be thick and stringy. Let’s try. Add salt if necessary, or vice versa, add honey. And the lack of acid can be compensated for with white wine. But now we will assume that the sauce turned out as it should be – sweetish, with a pleasant sourness and a light garlic aftertaste, complemented by a mustard spicy note.

Tear lettuce leaves into pieces. Basically, of course, this is a rum salad. But for the ‘color’ I add a couple of lolo rosso and radichio leaves.

Concasse tomatoes: This is the ‘meat’ of tomatoes without seeds or skin, cut into small cubes. First we quart a tomato, remove the core, cut the skin with a sharp knife and cut into small cubes.

For croutons, cut the toast washer into triangles. Mix the lettuce leaves with the sauce.

Grill prawns na bacon.

Fry the croutons and collect the salad. Enjoy!
